émilie gleason is a belgian-mexican cartoonist.
she wins in 2019 the revelation award at the international comics festival in angoulême with her first graphic novel, ted, drôle de coco, based on the story of her brother, diagnosed with autism. Since then, she has juggled projects involving murals, animation and published fifteen books for children and adults, notably junk food : the addiction, an investigation about food addicts anonymous (FAA).
she lives and works near paris.
